Specialised Branches
During the last ten years I have develop skill in all the seven branches of Design Technology: Electronic Products, Food Technology, Graphic Products, Resistant Materials, Systems and Control, Textiles Technology & Product Design.
You are welcome to explore my DT journey by specialisation,
At age five I was already building electronic products. My latest project is designing and building a custom-made gaming PC.
* includes systems and controls
Product Design
Product design is something I hold very dear to my heart, as it is vital in anything I do. From a very young age I was constantly given the tools to create anything digitally. When I was six I told my mom I wanted to build a Christmas game to gift all the children of the world and my first sketches were focused on the safety of the game so no bad actors could access it. Unfortunately we lost those wireframes but the sentiment stays, I want people to enjoy the products I make and to always be safe.
Graphic Products
From a very young age I have been passionate about the appearances and designs of things, as shown in following posts. The skills I have developed in graphic products have served me well in the process of game decoration as I explained in my Geometry Dash post
Resistant Materials
This is the specialty that I have less experience in, however I would still like to get learn more about it, as I think it would be beneficial for designing and prototyping PC parts (which is what I plan on doing when I’m older). The only project I have to showcase is woodwork, I really enjoyed it.
Food Tech
Food tech is a very special thing to me, as I highly enjoy the experience of cooking and baking, as well as eating and enjoying the food that i had made. I have done quite a lot of projects involving food, and my favourite is a bolognese recipe that I had only recently perfected.
My favourite specialty
Out of all of these, my favourite specialty would be product design, as it is applicable to so many things, from physical things such as computer parts, to digital things such as game levels and software. Overall it is. very well rounded specialty and applies to everything you make, so it is essentially the basis of all the other specialties
Future projects
I will have many future projects, possibly involving making more PCs for people, and school projects. I will also continue making geometry dash levels, and possibly get them featured on youtube and in the game itself. I am very hopeful for my future with DT and I believe it will be very good for me
